Delete directly in Ladybug
If you can still sign in, the in-app option is the quickest way to remove your account.
What account deletion removes
When the in-app deletion completes, your Ladybug login is removed and the server-side personal data connected to that account is deleted from active Ladybug systems. This includes account/profile data, device and notification records, current access state and user-linked interactions stored by Ladybug.
- Your Firebase login/account
- Your Ladybug account profile and account-specific cloud records
- Device, entitlement and notification records stored under your account
- User-linked Journal likes and any Ladybug Community profile/posts associated with the deleted account
Data stored only on your device
Some Ladybug information is stored locally on your phone rather than on Ladybug’s servers. Deleting the cloud account does not necessarily wipe every local cache or account-scoped file from the device. If you want to remove all remaining local app data as well, you can uninstall Ladybug or clear its app storage after account deletion.
What may be retained
Account deletion does not require us to erase information that must or may lawfully be retained for a limited purpose. For example, billing or tax records may be retained for the period required by law, backups may persist for up to 90 days, and minimal consent or suppression records may be kept where needed to document and respect communication preferences.
If you cannot access the app
Email us from the address connected to your Ladybug account and use the subject Delete My Account. We may need to verify your identity before processing an email request. Verified requests are handled within the time required by applicable data-protection law, normally within one month.
